By Missoni

World-renowned Italian fashion house Missoni makes its debut in Portugal with the AROEIRA COLLECTIONS by Missoni. Together with a heritage name in Portuguese architecture, Missoni’s mission is to bring home the richness of Aroeira’s particular landscape- the cliffs and dunes, greens and trees, sand and sea.

All Missoni’s design and real estate partnerships build on a dedication to technical excellence and vibrant optimism — qualities that define the Missoni brand within the high fashion landscape. Architect Ana Costa is overseeing the Aroeira Collections by Missoni project, working alongside Pedro Domingos and João Favila in a steadfast commitment to the landscape. Missoni has been custom designing interiors since the 1990s when Rosita Missoni launched their first home collection.

Heir to a design legacy herself, chief architect Ana Costa plans to reissue furniture from her father’s studio, Atelier Daciano da Costa, famous for creating emblematic Portuguese interiors such as the Gulbenkian and the Lisbon National Library. These two houses, Missoni and Daciano da Costa, share a commitment to manufacturing and to continuity— that is, to what is made and what is preserved. The quality of The Aroeira Collections by Missoni will live, above all, in the common care for details.

Set within a 350-hectare estate just 30 minutes from Lisbon, Portugal we find Aroeira Collections by Missoni.
